Ray Collins is a photographer with an amazing eye, and an even greater ability to create dream-like visuals of an incredibly difficult medium, the ocean. Every single one of his pictures makes it look like he froze time at exactly the perfect moment along with the most perfect light, its incredible really. As a follow-up to my last post, I came across this incredible poster campaign for the charity DePaul UK, that recently went up on the street corners of London. Go ahead and read the words on the image above, and then take a look at the image below.
Pretty great isn’t it? The ad campaign was put together by Dan Kennard and Ben Smith at Publicis London, and forces the reader to think about their preconceptions and to see the situation from the point of view of the homeless. (via Creative Review)
The world we live in today is one where anonymity doesn’t really exist. It’s a funny paradox – we can really say anything behind the mask that is the internet, but it never really is anonymous. This video struck a chord with me and I thought it was only right to share. It’s a powerful look into human nature, and so much of it is based on our interactions with others that might even be less fortunate than us. Really made me think.
